Caerphilly, along with many other councils across Wales, has taken the decision, in the interests of public health, to close the enclosed children’s play areas, MUGAs, skate parks, municipal and country parks which it is responsible for with immediate effect (23 March) until further notice.
The council is looking to continue to provide a free school meal to all eligible pupils whilst the schools are closed to pupils.
We appreciate that this is a very difficult time for your business and we are here to support you as much as we can.
​From 3pm today all Customer Service Centres with the exception of Ty Penallta will close until further notice.
Caerphilly County Borough Council is working hard to ensure arrangements are in place for a number of schools to remain open for the childcare needs of ‘key workers’.
The health and wellbeing of our loyal customers remains our utmost priority during this period of rising concern relating to the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak.
