Pests and infestation

NOTICE: Due to the latest COVID-19 restrictions the Pest Control service has had to reduce it’s services to be able to react to the current situation.  The reduction in service will mean that complaints/request for service will be triaged and only those we consider to be a public health risk will be actioned.

Request pest control treatment

If you have problems with rats please report it using the form below.

Report a problem with rats

To request a visit about cockroaches, mice, wasps, fleas or bedbugs please call us.

If there is a charge for the treatment, you will need to pay for it when requesting the visit. Payment can be made by debit or credit card over the telephone or cash payment is accepted at any of our cash offices.

Bees
Bees are one of the most important species of insect on the planet. Without them the flowering plants in our homes and gardens would not get pollinated and our agricultural industry would be ruined.

As result of their importance we do not treat for bees.

We would recommend that unless they are causing great distress, bumblebee nests should be left alone. If you cannot live with them then help is available. The British Beekeepers Association website provides useful information about Honey Bee identification and a post code search to find a local swarm collector. The Cardiff, Vale and Valleys Beekeepers can also advise on swarms.

What do I have to pay?

Prices from 1 April 2022:

  • Wasps £36.40 plus VAT per treatment (Please note we do not remove dead wasp nests)
  • Fleas £36.40 plus VAT per treatment
  • Mice £52 plus VAT per treatment
  • Rats, cockroaches and bedbugs - free for domestic properties
  • Commercial premises £41.60 per hour plus materials

For other pest control service charges please contact us.

Pests we don’t deal with

We do not offer treatment for all pests such as common garden pests (such as ants, earwigs and woodlice) and carpet/fur beetles. However, we do offer free advice to our residents for controlling common pests including, ants, mice, fleas, flies, beetles and pscocids.
