Play Service
Caerphilly Play is in the initial stages of bringing more play opportunities to the children and young people across Caerphilly borough. Activities will include pop up play sessions starting with the Play in the Park series.
What can volunteers do?
- Supporting playworkers to set up and clear away play sessions including sharing ideas for session plans
- Facilitating children’s play working within the playwork principles.
- Be eager to learn about risk benefit analysis and ensuring a rich play environment.
What can you expect from us?
- Training in Safeguarding.
- Full induction into the role including overview on supporting play.
- T-shirt to wear on project delivery.
- An opportunity to build on experience of working with children and their families in a fun environment.
