Pay your business rates bill
Your business rates bill is usually payable in 10 monthly instalments from April to the following January. We may agree alternative payment arrangements in certain circumstances.
Direct Debit
Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay. You can set this up by phoning us. Call 01443 863006 Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4pm. Alternatively, there is a Direct Debit form, which you can print off, fill in and return to us. You can pay on the 5th, 15th or 25th of each month. You will need your bank account number, branch sort code and bank address to hand.

Online
Paying online is easy and secure. The cards we accept are Maestro UK, MasterCard Debit, Visa Debit (Delta, Electron), Visa Credit and MasterCard Credit.

Payments may be made by telephone using our automated payment line at any time.
In Person
Please note that payments for business rates are no longer accepted at Customer Services Offices.
Post Office
You can also pay at the post office. Click here for details of how to apply for a post office card.
By post
Payments must be by crossed cheque or postal order made payable to Caerphilly County Borough Council (post dated cheques are not acceptable). Please send your payment together and your payment card to:

Please write your business rates account number on the back of your cheque or postal order.
Please do not send cash in the post.
