Delivery Agreement

The Delivery Agreement contains a timetable for the preparation and delivery of the 2nd Replacement LDP and includes a Community Involvement Scheme which sets out how members of the public and other interested groups can contribute to plan preparation.

The Delivery Agreement was agreed by Welsh Government on 17 June 2021. This means that work can formally commence on the 2nd Replacement LDP.

Due to the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. the meeting of Special Council, where the Preferred Strategy was due to be considered, has been cancelled and re-arranged for the 29 September. This takes the plan beyond the agreed 3-month slippage period set out in the agreed Delivery Agreement of June 2021.

Welsh Government has confirmed agreement to this additional slippage of the plan. This position reflects the national significance of recent events, and there being no adverse effect on stakeholders.

This letter is publicly available in accordance with the requirements set out in Regulation 10, accompanying the agreed Delivery Agreement.
