Teachers

To help teachers and group leaders make the most out of a visit, a teacher’s resource pack has been written for Coed Llanerch. The pack includes activities for the Foundation Phase through to Keystages 1 & 2.

Children

Some of you may not have been lucky enough to get one of our wooden books to help you explore the woods but all the activities that are in the book can be downloaded here.

Keep visiting this page though, because when we come up with a new activity we’ll make sure that its put on this page first.

Education area

Our outdoor classroom is located in Coed Llanerch near Hollybush and is free for any school organised group to use.

Because it’s a classroom in a natural setting we have to limit its use. Its open three days a week, two classes a day - one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Some (group use only) equipment is also available from Markham Primary School. The equipment is subject to availability and a deposit will be required for the loan of any equipment.
