The Leader of Caerphilly county borough council has praised the hardworking staff who worked around the clock over the weekend to protect the community during the recent storms
Due to the red weather warning in place the Council decided to cancel today’s planned free school meal deliveries.
Pupils at Cwmaber Infants School have proven their green credentials after being awarded a top eco award.
Any refuse or food/garden waste that was not collected on Friday 18th due to Storm Eunice will be collected Saturday, 19th February.
This year will see an historic election, in which young people aged 16 & 17 will have the right to vote in the upcoming Council elections. However, the deadline for receiving applications is looming and those young people need to register before the 14th of April.
The Met Office has now issued a RED weather warning for parts of the county borough on Friday 18th February.
