The last Winter Food and Craft Market takes place in Blackwood Town Centre this Saturday
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Blackwood Town Centre as it prepares for the Winter Food and Craft Market.

As the final market in a series of Winter Food and Craft Markets being held throughout the Borough, Blackwood Town Centre is set to be transformed into a winter wonderland with approximately 25 food and craft stalls. There will be vodka, gin, rum, ale, cakes, sweets, slime kits, children’s hair accessories and dog accessories from regular trader Charlie B’s on sale, to name just some of the delicious and delightful products available!

The festive, family day out will also include a selection of children’s funfair rides along with a jam-packed programme of top quality street theatre entertainment.

Taking place on Saturday 11th December, the Market provides the perfect opportunity for visitors to shop locally this Christmas. Blackwood Town Centre has a selection of independent stores filled with quirky gift ideas; there are also a number of high street stores, cafes and bars.

Cllr. Eluned Stenner, Cabinet Member for Performance, Economy and Enterprise said “With Christmas now only weeks away, the Winter Food and Craft Market is the perfect opportunity for shoppers to pick up unique gifts whilst supporting their local high street.”

The event will be located on High Street where there will be a road closure in place from 9pm on Friday 10th December until 9pm on Saturday 11th December.
