CCBC Councillors celebrate local art

A group of Caerphilly County Borough Council Councillors have visited New Tredegar Winding House to view an impressive art exhibition.

The Rhymney Our Valley exhibition includes over 80 impressive pieces of work, produced by local school children, celebrating what they like about their lives and the natural environment.

The project was supported by Caerphilly County Borough Council Arts Services and Winding House Museum.

Deputy Leader, Jamie Pritchard said: “It was a pleasure to visit New Tredegar Winding House to see the amazing contributions our local school children have made to the newest art exhibition. This is just one of the incredible exhibitions that New Tredegar Winding House has to offer, making it the perfect family day out.”

Councillor Carol Andrews, Cabinet Member for Education and Communities adds: “I would like to thank the local schools and pupils who helped create this wonderful exhibition, and to everyone at New Tredegar Winding House and Caerphilly Art Services for making this exhibition possible.”
