WeCare Wales Week 2021

This week WeCare Wales and Caerphilly County Borough Council have been shining a light on what it’s like to work in the social care, children’s and early years sectors.

The Covid-19 pandemic has rapidly increased demand for social care services and new staff are needed to support citizens right across Caerphilly County Borough.

Throughout WeCare Wales week there will be a number of virtual events to support job seekers interested in a career in care, with the opportunity to link up with local employers and job vacancies near you. https://wecare.wales/

Cllr Shayne Cook, Cabinet member for Social Care said “With demand increasing we need more people to join the social care sector than ever before. If you’re interested in making a positive difference to people in your community then we want to hear from you. Get involved with the WeCare Wales week and become the lifeline your community needs.”

If you would like to find out more about working in social care, as well as current vacancies in your local area, make sure you follow WeCare on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to keep up-to-date with WeCare Wales Week news.
