Where the funds go?
Penallta Reuse Shop has been opened in partnership with South Wales based charity, Wastesavers. All profits raised through Penallta Reuse Shop are divided equally between the Wastesavers charity work and Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Mayor’s charity.
Wastesavers charity work falls into three main categories: Digital inclusion programmes; the provision of used household items to people in need; and helping young people who are struggling in mainstream education. Find out more about the Wastesavers charity work.
Each year the CCBC Mayor chooses a charity that they would like to support. Find out more about the CCBC Mayor’s Charity.
