Help logging in

Sign In

To access your account you will need your smartcard membership number. This is a 16 character number on the front of your Smartcard. 

You will also need to know your unique password. When you signed up for your Smartcard, unless you specified otherwise your password would have been set to your date of birth, for example, 01/09/1980.

Forgotten your password

If do not know your password and you gave us your email address during enrolment, you can use the 'Forgot Password' button on the login screen and we will send you a new password by email.

If you have not provided us with an email address, you will need to contact your local library and they will reset your password for you.

Account security

Only you can access Your Account with a valid card number and password.

Your Account will show you basic personal information, your loans and reservations.

You can change your password at any time once logged in using the ‘Change My Password’ option. Follow the onscreen instructions on that page to complete the process.

Blocked account

On occasion access to your online account may be blocked. This may be due to outstanding overdue fines or you have entered the incorrect password more than 5 times.

If you find your account blocked please contact your local library.

Not a member?

If you are not a member of Caerphilly Library Service, you can join at your local library or leisure centre but will need to take some proof of identity with you.
