Welcoming Spaces

Welcoming Spaces (also known as Warm Hubs) have been set up across the borough to provide a warm space and a friendly face.  They have been set up in various venues such as libraries, community centres, church halls and sports clubs.  You can find information and locations of welcoming spaces.

What can volunteers do?

• Setting the room up with tables and chairs
• Meet and greet customers
• Taking orders, serving food and drinks
• Chatting to people and signposting to services when required
• Be part of the committee for the group who run the Welcome Spaces

What can you expect from us?

• Meet and socialise with new people
• Access to appropriate training
• Be part of a supportive team
