Other licences

  • Civil wedding premises licence

    To hold a civil ceremony or wedding at a premises you must get approval.

    Tattoo, piercing and electrolysis licence

    Anyone carrying out skin piercing activities must be registered.

    Multiple occupancy home licence

    If you rent out a property as a house in multiple occupation (HMO), you may require a licence.
  • Environmental permits

    You must have an environmental permit if you operate a regulated facility.

    Petroleum licence

    If you store petroleum for commercial or retail purposes, and it is dispensed by electrical or mechanical means, you must have a licence.

    Lottery licence

    Some legal lotteries require a Gambling Commission licence or local authority registration.
  • Residential caravan site licence

    The rights of mobile home owners are covered by The Mobile Homes (Wales) Act 2013.

    Camp site licence

    If you allow your land to be used as a camping site for more than 42 days consecutively - or 60 days in a year - you need a licence.

    Caravan and camp site licence

    To run a caravan and camping site you need a licence.
