Schools’ Snoopy sculptures have been unleashed!

Over 70 miniature Snoopy sculptures have been unleashed across Bridgend, Caerphilly and Cardiff for the launch of A Dog’s Trail Schools’ Snoopy sculpture art trail, all designed and decorated by school children across South Wales.

There has been a great deal of excitement for A Dog’s Trail, so much so that the series of smaller versions of the giant Snoopy sculptures have taken to the streets a week earlier, with 75 of them pawing their way across the streets of Bridgend, Caerphilly and Cardiff on their own trail.

Over 80 local schools from across South Wales joined the fun and created their very own smaller Snoopy sculpture trail as part of the A Dog’s Trail with Snoopy Learning Programme. With vivid colours, pupils and groups across the region have painted, coloured, drawn and sketched their designs, giving the sculptures a new ‘leash’ of life!

The pupils’ inspiration for their designs include their local community, celebrating inclusivity and diversity as well as protecting our planet. The young artists have all raised pounds for hounds to ensure that Dogs Trust can continue to care for and rehome dogs in South Wales.

From 30th March, you can sniff out the miniature Snoopy sculptures across public spaces in Cardiff, Caerphilly and Porthcawl by downloading the A Dog’s Trail app, ahead of the main trail going live on 8th April.
