Students celebrate AS and A Level results
Posted on : 10 Aug 2021
Students across the Caerphilly county borough are being congratulated on their AS and A Level achievements.
Learners in schools and colleges across Caerphilly have been notified of their results today Tuesday 10h August.
Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Learning and Leisure, Cllr Ross Whiting said, “I would like to express my congratulations to all learners on your AS and A Level achievements. I have been impressed by the determination of all learners to do their best and secure their future, either in University, vocational education, apprenticeships or the workplace. Everyone has done so well in such hard circumstances and I know all students have a bright future ahead, whatever you choose to do. I wish you all the very best of luck.”
Richard Edmunds, Caerphilly’s Director for Education and Corporate Services added, “I would like to extend my congratulations to everyone receiving their A Level results today. I would also like to thank both our leaners and staff for their ongoing commitment and dedication during the unprecedented times we find ourselves in.
These results provide learners with a platform for the next step of their journey, whether into further education or into the world of employment.”
Keri Cole Chief Education Officer said, “To say it has been a tough year for those in education, teachers, parents and guardians would be an understatement. I know today will be a proud day whatever the outcome and our amazing school community will support learners to go on to their next step in their learning journey. To see the commitment and dedication from both staff and students during these unprecedented times has been inspiring and demonstrates ‘Team Caerphilly’ at its finest – well done everyone.”
