Have your say on Flood Management
Flood warning road sign in water

Caerphilly County Borough Council wants your views on our Draft Flood Risk Management Strategy.

In 2013, Caerphilly County Borough Council unveiled our inaugural Local Flood Risk Management Strategy (LFRMS). A decade has passed since then, and the landscape of flood risk management has evolved considerably. Changes in national strategy, the introduction of new legislation and guidance, and the invaluable lessons we've gleaned over the past ten years necessitate an update to our strategy

As we stand on the cusp of finalising our updated Local Flood Risk Management Strategy, it's imperative to us at Caerphilly County Borough Council (CCBC) to hear from you. We're launching this final stage of public consultation to gather insights from our residents and stakeholders.

It allows us to think about short term actions that are needed quickly to resolve immediate
concerns but also to look at things that we can deliver over time to progressively manage and
reduce flood risk across our communities.

Your feedback is especially crucial if you're directly impacted by or have a vested interest in flood risk management.

Please complete the online survey to give us your views.

A copy of the survey and supporting information is also available at your nearest Library.

We are also hosting walk-in sessions at the following libraries on the dates listed below should you want to talk to us about our Draft Local Flood Risk Management Strategy.
