One Beat showcase comes to Bargoed
The Caerphilly third sector showcase “One Beat” is coming to Bargoed for its first public event this year.
One Beat will be held from 10am – 2pm on Thursday 13th June at St Gwladys Church Hall in Bargoed.  The event is free to attend and free tea and coffee will also be available. The regular St Gwladys Dementia Café will also be running downstairs during the day.
The event is an opportunity for residents to see the work of voluntary and community organisations in the Caerphilly county borough and find out what support, advice and information they can offer.
Those interested in volunteering may also find the ideal opportunity with one of the eighteen organisations who will be attending.
The Mayor of Bargoed, Cllr Reg Carroll, will officially open the event.  Exhibitors at the event will include Alzheimers Society, Blackwood & District Heritage Association, Blaenau Gwent & Caerphilly Care & Repair, Blaenau Gwent &, Caerphilly Youth Offending Service, Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Volunteer Service, Connect Gwent, Gofal, Gwent Police Bargoed Neighbourhood Team, Help4Wales Foundation, Home Start Caerphilly Borough, Islwyn Art Project, Multisport Social Health & Wellbeing CIC, Smart Money Cymru Credit Union, Tabernacle Baptist Church Newbridge, The National Lottery Community Fund, The Parent Network, Threshold  DAS Ltd - Limitless and Active Inclusion Projects.
