Libraries service available during Covid-19
Although our libraries currently remain closed, we are working hard to develop plans to reopen our doors as soon as we can whilst maintaining public safety and that of library staff.
In the meanwhile, we are launching a range of alternative library services to eligible residents as follows.
LibraryLink Home Delivery Service
The Caerphilly Library Service have introduced a book lending and delivery service to the home of eligible residents. Visit the LibraryLink Home Delivery Service webpage for details
Returning library items
Some residents may have items they need to return to the library that were loaned before libraries were closed.
Starting on Monday 13 July, you can return these items at entrances to Bargoed, Caerphilly and Risca Library using the ‘Return Book Bins’ situated at the library entrances.
Returned items will be cleared from your library account and any fines accrued during the closure will be removed from your account.
- Bargoed Library: Monday to Friday 9:30am - 4:15pm
- Risca Library: Monday to Friday 9:30am - 4:15pm
- Caerphilly Library: Monday to Friday 9:30am - 4:15pm and Saturday 9:30am - 2pm
