• Big Lottery Fund: Awards for All Wales

  Provides voluntary and community groups with a simple way to get Lottery grants. 

  Big Lottery Fund: People and Places

  Grant to fund capital and revenue projects to make communities better places to live.

  Community Empowerment Fund

  This grant scheme has been created to enable communities to develop and deliver projects aimed at meeting the needs of their residents.

• Community Support Fund

  The Community Support Fund is available for groups and organisations to access funding to deliver community-based activity. 

  Coalfields Community Grants

  Third sector organisations that are based or delivering services to people living in the designated former Coalfields areas of Wales.

  Grants to the voluntary sector fund

  Support for voluntary community activities being arranged by local community groups.

• Heritage Lottery Fund - 'Our Heritage'

  The Our Heritage open programme is for any type of project related to national, regional or local heritage in the UK.

  Heritage Lottery Fund - 'Sharing Heritage'

  The outcome we value most is that ‘people will have learnt about heritage’.

  Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales

  Investing in charities supporting people to break out of disadvantage at critical points in their lives.

• Oakdale Community Benefit Fund

  Support and benefit viable and sustainable communities within the Oakdale area.

  Policy on Awarding Grants

  The Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 established a legal framework to impose a duty on local authorities to comply with Standards of conduct in relation to the Welsh Language.

  Viridor and Prosiect Gwyrdd Community Fund

  Viridor has committed to make available funding tocommunity initiatives that operate in the local authority regions that make up Prosiect Gwyrdd;
  Caerphilly, Cardiff, Monmouthshire, Newport and Vale of Glamorgan.

• Welsh Church Fund

  Registered voluntary societies, movements and institutions which contribute towards local community life can apply for this grant.

  Rural Community Development Fund

  Grants for a wide range of interventions designed to prevent and mitigate the impact of poverty in rural communities improving conditions which can lead to future jobs and growth.
