Participation monitoring

From time-to-time the waste management department will undertake participation monitoring on food/garden, recycling and residual waste.

We have recently completed a food waste participation monitoring exercise but in the past have monitored recycling to determine which properties are/are not participating.

Residual waste may be monitored to ensure additional or inappropriate waste is not being placed out for collection. These campaigns ensure we can target our education, advice and guidance to residents who may require further assistance, with appropriate levels of enforcement if necessary.
